Hey everyone,
I hope you are all well.
I will be reviewing a Max Factor flipsticks lip colour soo but for now i thought i would write a really quick blogpost about one of my favourite makeup products.
Ok, so i purchased the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation about 2 or 3 months ago, and i have been really impressed with it in general. I purchased it mainly to cover the redness/rosey colour in my cheeks and it has covered that really well. But yesterday i found an all new respect for it.
I went to a Zumba class in the morning at 9.30am, which i always wear the Double wear foundation to to keep the redness at bay, i then had 35mins to get myself ready to go out again for 11.15am, and i thought i was going to be lucky to be able to have time to have a shower so the prospect of being able to remove and reapply my foundation in time was a definate no no.
So when i got home, after an hour of constant sweat pouring down my face (sorry if that a bit too much info, lol), i washed my face and headed for the shower, where i washed my face again. Expecting to have to remove my foundation after the shower and reapply it again to go out i was shocked to find that the foundation had not budged! The foundation had held up against an hour of sweat and 2 heavy duty face washes and still remained on my skin covering the redness perfectly.
It was amazing, i have never known any other brand of foundation to hold up against sweat and/or humiduty on me, let alone 2 face washes aswell. In my opinion this foundation is the best.
So, in conclusion, if anyone is considering buying the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation but isnt sure if it would be worth its money, as it is £26.50, then take my advice and go for it. If it can hold up after all i put it throught and still cover the redness in my cheeks then you will be shocked at what it could do for you.
Thank you for your time.
Take care guys
XxX
